Inside Out Buildings have recently installed this summerhouse in Somerset. We have worked together with our clients and built this timber summer house to fit into the corner of their garden. The summerhouse has been built using (ex) 19mm shiplap timbers. Because a summer house is an all year round timber building, the timbers are pressure treated to withstand rot and decay.Shiplap timbers were chosen for the summerhouse as the individual timbers are milled so they fit together, creating a snug fit and clean design.
Premium timber summer house
Inside Out Buildings have created a store area within the rear of this summerhouse. If you look closely in the picture of the summerhouse above, you will see a timber panel in the summerhouse, with a door opening. The Somerset clients decided that they needed a garden store, and summerhouse so we worked closely with them to combine the two timber projects.
By creating a garden store within this Somerset summerhouse, it means that the initial cost may be slightly higher because of the increased timber used, and time taken to build. It also means that if you were to add the price of a timber summerhouse to the price of a timber garden shed, that in real terms, you will be paying less.
Inside Out Buildings can work with you to design and built your perfect summerhouse. We offer free site surveys if you live locally to our timber yard. We are based on the Devon and Somerset border, at Dunkeswell near Honiton. Find us HERE
