Inside Out Buildings aim to give you a realistic time frame in which you can expect your timber building, and shall aim to fulfil all orders at the earliest opportunity.
Deliveries are made weekdays only, typically during the hours of 7.00am to 7.00pm, however this can vary and we can arrange to have your delivery made over the weekend.
Delivery (supply only) shall be to kerbside or driveway. It is at the discretion of Inside Out Buildings as to whether assistance in moving the building to elsewhere within the curtilage of the property is appropriate. We will endeavour to always assist where possible, but careful consideration has to be given to the size and the weight of the buildings, and any liability to our staff and drivers.
Where Inside Out Buildings is not the manufacturer of the branded products, we cannot be held responsible for delay in delivery caused by the manufacturing process, or third party such as a contracted carrier.
Should the delivery period extend beyond that given, notified or 30 days after the date of order the customer can cancel their order without penalty. (Section 19 of the Distance Selling Regulations relates)
The customer has the responsibility to provide free and unobstructed access for product delivery. Any delivery unable to be made due to inappropriate access, customer obstruction, or avoidable delay, Inside Out Buildings may require re-imbursement for re-delivery.
It should be noted that the products supplied are mainly large and sectional and will not fit through a pedestrian door
The employees of Inside Out Buildings are instructed that our products shall not be lifted over walls, fences etc, and transited to other floors other than highway level.
Inside Out Buildings do expect the customer to be on site at point of delivery unless it has been arranged and agreed upon prior to delivery.
All products can be sold and supplied for self-assembly
Where an erection service is selected by the customer, this service will be undertaken at the stated cost in a diligent and professional manner by employees of Inside Out Buildings
To ensure erection can be completed, the customer may be required to; (a) provide a concrete or paved base, being firm, square (diagonals) and level (by spirit level) – no less than the size of their chosen product, (b) ensure 600mm (2′) unobstructed access is provided all around the proposed site, (c) no trees, branches or similar encroach upon the proposed site or working space, and (d) provide clear external pedestrian access (not height or turn limited) to allow unimpeded passage of the product sections or components.
If on arrival, the base prepared by the customer does not offer serviceable support for the product can be left until the customer provides an appropriate base, at which point a return erection visit can be arranged. This may incur an additional fee dependant on the time and labour costs.
For supply only orders, the customer should not arrange or commence any erection service until they have received their product and have fully checked that their product is both complete and sound.
Inspection of the goods to be made on receipt, and notification to Inside Out Buildings within seven days after the day of receipt of any shortages or damage to the said goods.
Inside Out Buildings will aim to rectify any shortages or damages immediately, or in the case of manufactured goods off site within 7 working days.
All statements made relating to guarantee periods are to be honoured by the relative manufacturer, Timber Garden Buildings. Inside Out Buildings shall assist with any guarantee claim but shall not bear responsibility for buildings manufacture off site. Inside Out Buildings will fully cover any buildings that fall as part of our comprehensive guarantee.
Inside Out Buildings reserve the right to decline any replacement request should damage or mis-use of the product have occurred whilst in situ on the customer’s property, or during self-assembly.
All goods are newly manufactured for sale or to order, as described.. We do not retail seconds or ex-display products, thus a return should be considered unlikely.
A return or cancellation of supply only goods can be instructed up to 14 working days after the date of delivery (except as below) as defined by section 11, part 2 of the Distance Selling Regulations.
If the customer has instructed and agreed upon, with deposit paid, there is no right to cancel should their order include a personalised requirement i.e; optional fixtures, adaptations or preferences. We do realise that sometimes, for all reasons, customers change their minds, and we will try to take this into account, but fundamentally we will need to have a valid reason for cancellation and seek to at minimum cover our costs to date, which will include costs associated with the collection of/return of goods
We expect returned items or buildings to be in their original condition, thus fit for re-sale as new. If assembly has been commenced by ourselves, or as a self build, this will deem as the product as ‘used’ and thus un-saleable as new.
REJECTED GOODS (CANCELLATION)
All goods are newly constructed for sale or to order, as described on the Inside Out Buildings web site. We do not retail seconds or ex-display products, thus rejected goods are an extremely rare event.
Should ‘The Customer’ wish to reject their goods through fault or damage,or mis description this must be undertaken within 14 working days after the date of receipt of goods.
If the customer has had a bespoke building, optional fixtures, adaptations to their specifications, we would seek to rectify the damage or mis description and come to an agreement to resolve any issues the customer may have with their product.
All prices are correct as of October 2014. Prices are in £’s Sterling and are subject to change with the vagaries of wholesale timber prices. We do strive to keep prices up to date, but blog articles, and magazine articles may not reflect our current pricing structure. These prices will not form part of any sale, and current prices at point of sale will prevail.
All prices given are inclusive of standard rate VAT
Free 20 mile delivery is based on road distance from EX14 4LA – delivery charges outside of this area will be applied and the customer will be informed of these as part of any quote or at point of sale.
Free 20 mile delivery only applies to timber buildings and all other products sold by Inside Out Buildings will be serviced and delivered on a product by product basis.
Inside out buildings reserve the right to offer reduced pricing on promotions, sale stock or charitable causes. Once an order has been agreed and processed, we will not retrospectively apply pricing reductions.
Quotes will be valid for 28 days. Should the customer wish to proceed with an order after the 28 day period, and the product price has changed, any payment made by way of a deposit will be returned.
Inside Out Buildings require 20% deposit on all timber buildings, and full payment on delivery or installation (whichever comes first)
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, BAC’s or by credit/debit card
Inside Out Buildings reserves the right to alter the standard deposit payment terms if any customer requirements are above and beyond our usual manufacturing processes where we may have to employ specialist trades to complete the task.
Any deposit taken for a building requiring planning permission, where that permission is subsequently refused, a full no quibble refund will be made on all monies held.
Legal ownership of any goods supplied shall remain the property of Inside Out Buildings, until such time that full payment of order/invoice has been received from the customer
Should the full payment not be received, the customer accepts that Inside Out Buildings retain the right to demand and receive immediate settlement of all outstanding monies owed. Should this not be acceptable, for any reason, Inside Out Buildings, or agents acting on their behalf, be allowed unrestricted access to reclaim the goods, at which point the order cancellation process shall be instigated in writing. (see Returns)
The condition of the goods prior to any reclaim is sole the responsibility of the customer, and goods reclaimed are to be in original and unused condition.
