Welcome to our Inside Out Buildings Blog – here we try to give you an idea of our projects past and present, and use this page within our website to create useful links. We will talk about timbers, preservatives, paint and the like, and other local trades that we can recommend along the way. It does not replace a conversation, so please do feel free to call – 01404 891404, or drop us an email info@insideoutbuildings.co.uk
Here's a roundup of shows because we've had a wonderful but very busy couple of months attending the local ones - Toby's Gaden Festival at Powderham Castle and the Devon County Show at West Point, Exeter in May, followed by the Royal Bath and West Show at Shepton Mallet and the Royal Cornwall Show at Wadebridge in June... and it's not over for us yet - we still have the Taunton Flower Show at Vivary Park on the 2nd and [...]

Spring has definitely sprung this weekend, even if mother nature is a little ahead of the calendar! It's time to start thinking about what you want from your garden this summer and we're here to help you consider a garden outbuilding that is more than you though possible. A garden outbuilding doesn't have to have one purpose - whilst it would be nice to have a shed, a summer house, a workshop, a log store and a BBQ gazebo, the [...]
Handmade Cabins in Devon - We recently completed this handmade cabin for a customer. It has one bedroom with a shower room, open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area and veranda. It is double glazed, insulated and has a cedar shingle roof making it suitable for use all year round. Cabins are a good way of increasing space when you need it and often, if you are joining with the utilities that exist within the curtilage of your home, no planning is needed. [...]
A recent customer required a bespoke timber workshop, but wanted it to fit in with the surroundings and be easy on the eye. We'd like to think we met the brief - what do you think?! Built with C24 construction grade heavy duty framing, and clad using traditional Swedish tanalised shiplap with joinery windows under a cedar shingle roof. It is fully membrane lined ready for all the interior fixtures and fittings. If you are interested in finding out more [...]

You can check out the full line up and purchase tickets by clicking here. Don't forget to come [...]
